Samson Tug and Barge is certified by the EPA and approved by the U.S. Coast Guard and local Fire Departments to transport most types of hazardous materials.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

At Samson Tug and Barge, we stay current with the rules and regulations affecting the transportation of hazardous cargo. Samson Tug and Barge is prepared to move most types of hazardous materials allowable by the U.S. Coast Guard and local Fire Departments. We have an outstanding safety record, and are fully certified by the EPA to transport hazardous materials and hazardous waste. To date we have transported over 28 thousand tons of hazardous and non hazardous waste generated from Waste Disposal Programs and Environmental Cleanup Programs throughout Alaska.

BOOK IN ADVANCE

All shipments of hazardous materials must be booked in advance. Please reach out to one of our customer service representatives to discuss the shipping of your hazardous cargo. For the shipment of waste (both hazardous and non-hazardous waste), the manifests must be reviewed and approved prior to receipt by Samson Tug and Barge.
